Manifesto : Martyn Lewis.
I Want To Be An MP.

Martyn Lewis wrote to fifty MP's asking for their views on the song and the expenses scandal: a legitimate request you might think.
Only two MP's responded - Ruth Kelly (who is stepping down anyway) and Nick Clegg. Neither Gordon Brown or David Cameron could find the time to respond.
Most recipients - or their staff - read the email but NOT Jaqui Smith. She deleted the email without reading it. Perhaps with her track record and subsequent grudging apology, we should expect little more.
So who were these 50 MP's? Was yours one of them?
The MP's who refused to comment on the expenses scandal are all listed below.
Drop them a line; point them to this page; and let us know how you get on!
